First, I’d like to say how grateful I am to all of my amazing clients for a great year! I’ve loved helping celebrate birthdays, new children and siblings, and anniversaries with all of you! 2014 has been quite a learning year for me. Restructuring pricing, learning the ins and outs of having studio space, and figuring out what works and what still needs some tweaking with basic business practices and the day to day operations. Pricing and packaging options have been something I’ve been working on and trying out things to see what works. I have always priced sessions based on session type and number of people. I have seen this past year with more session type options it has just confused things more than anything. In 2015 I am going to be taking a much simpler approach! For Family & Children sessions I will have 2 types with flat rates based on length of time and number of images. Basic & Premium. Losing the confusion of figuring out what session type you fit into. This is going to make scheduling much easier, and open up my calendar significantly! I will be taking on multiple sessions a day. What this means for you, is more chances and openings to get in! Nothing worse than turning away clients for important milestone sessions because my schedule won’t allow! Another exciting change for my longtime clients, or those wanting to be, will be some yearly packaging options! Discounted options for commitments to multiple sessions in a year. I can’t wait for January 2015 to officially get all of this rolling! I will have session information and pricing available then!
